We are proud to list our second property The Nest. Opened in December 2023, The Nest is a luxury one bedroom single storey reclaimed brick build detached cottage with rustic modern farmhouse design, a comfortable home from home experience, ideal for romantic, relaxing getaways for couples.
The Nest has proved to be so popular with guest’s who were staying in The Snug while it was being created, some having mini tours during the build, some just booking it after The Snug experience. We have been so humbled and proud that The Nest has been booked directly by so many returning guests who have loved it.

The lounge area is cosy with feature reclaimed brick internal walls, comfortable ‘L’shaped sofa, mid-century chair, free standing lamp ideal for relaxing and reading, 50 inch Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Alexa with unlimited music and high speed Wi-Fi. Curtains at the French doors are William Morris Strawberry Thief design. The kitchen/dining area features a 1900’s repurposed joiners workbench converted into an amazing 4-seater dining island complimented by bespoke lighting unit for intimate dining, built-in oven, microwave, electric hob, extracor fan, kettle, cafetiere, 4-sliced toaster, integrated dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine and integrated secret ironing board. As you enter the feature rustic wood entrance to the corridor, the sliding barn door reveals the stunning bathroom which always takes guests’ breath away. The tiled bathroom showcases a distinctive free-standing bath, Georgian panelled shower screen with walk in power rain shower, double vanity unit featuring 1900’s mirror and wall lights and WC. We provide luxury hotel quality towels, toiletries and sundries.
Our elegant bedroom features distinctive panelling and relaxing colour scheme, with sumptuous ornate king sized bed with Fogarty duck feather and down quilt, Egyptian cotton bed linen and Appletree Elysia woven jacquard throw and pillow cases, bed side cabinets with bedside lights, triple door ornate wardrobe incorporating full length mirror, dressing table, vanity mirror, boudoir stool and chair. A 43 inch Smart TV with picture art screensaver.
Facilities include Russell Hobs steam iron and pull out secret ironing board, 50 inch Smart TV, Wi-Fi, USB charging points, cutlery, crockery, utensils, hair dryer, hair straighteners, tea towels, bath towels and bedding. The walled private outside patio area is accessed via French doors from the lounge/dining room and provides you with comfortable bistro table and chairs and brand new state of the art luxury 6-seater 2024 model hot tub set for your arrival at a tranquil 38 degrees and available 365 days of the year, situated under a bespoke solid wood gazebo – whatever the weather you can enjoy an amazing spa experience just four paces from the French doors.
We provide a comprehensive Welcome Pack for your enjoyment. This comprises of Yorkshire tea, Kenco instant coffee, sugar, sweeteners, de-caffeinated tea and coffee, speciality teas, hot chocolate, luxury coffee sachets, ground coffee and cafetiere, semi-skimmed milk, bottled water a selection of snacks, breakfast cereals, fresh fruit, bottle of prosecco and our locally home produced gin. For your peace of mind and safety we have 24 hour CCTV, smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms all hard-wired to current safety specifications. Fire Risk Assessment and Fire Action plan, fire equipment and first aid kit.
